If you’ve felt a little stuck, it may be time to get uncomfortable.
If you take a look at the video above, you might notice that my background is a little different. I’ve left the comfort of sunny San Diego for the harsh winter of the Pacific Northwest. I wanted to share this with you because maybe you’re out there stepping into a new season in your own life. I can relate.
The truth is that if we keep doing what we’ve always done, we’re going to keep getting what we’ve always gotten. Nothing changes if nothing changes. Sometimes, we need to take a step back in life to take two to three steps forward. It’s important for me; I want to feel all the human emotions, the full spectrum, and I’m getting it.
“You’re not alone.”
I want to live my life to the fullest, meet as many people as possible, have as many life experiences as possible, and see as many places as possible. Here in Oregon, I’m getting to do that. If you’re out there stepping into a new season in your life, know that you’re not alone. When we take that first step, that’s all we do.
I always recommend that we act our way into the right thinking. We need to take that action to get that next download, that next thought, or that next intuitive feeling of what we should be doing. Sometimes our life purpose doesn’t have to be grandiose.
Right now, it feels like my purpose is to be the best partner I can be for my girlfriend, to be the best son for my parents, and to be the best friend to a new community of people here in Bend, Oregon. This is a very different situation for me, so pay attention to whatever that is for you.
No matter what you’re going through, I’m here for you and am rooting for you. Just give me a call or send me an email if you want to talk. I am always available.
