I urge you to try this short meditation session each morning for two weeks.
In today’s fast-paced and uncertain world, it’s no surprise that anxiety has become one of the most prevalent mental health issues people face. The constant worry about the future and what might happen can leave us feeling overwhelmed and stressed. Fortunately, there are ways to cope with anxiety, and one of the most effective is through meditation.
That’s why I have put together a guided healing meditation to help those struggling with anxiety. My invitation to you is to commit to 15 minutes every morning for the next two weeks. Instead of immediately reaching for your phone to check social media, email, or text messages, I encourage you to listen to this meditation as soon as you wake up.
“You’ll begin to notice a positive shift in your momentum and flow.”
This meditation is designed to help shift your nervous system from the sympathetic, fight-or-flight mode to the parasympathetic, rest-and-digest mode. When we’re in fight-or-flight mode, our bodies are in a state of stress, and we experience a rapid heartbeat and high blood pressure. By activating the rest-and-digest mode, we’re able to slow our heart rate, lower our blood pressure, and feel more calm and peaceful.
By committing to this meditation every morning for two weeks, you’ll begin to notice a positive shift in your momentum and flow. You’ll have more peace, calm, and creativity coming from a place of strength. You’ll be better equipped to consciously respond to life’s events instead of unconsciously reacting.
